For straightforward units like length and weight, we apply fixed multiplication factors (for example, 1 inch is defined as exactly 25.4 millimetres). For temperature, we use the standard formulas: °F = (°C × 9/5) + 32 and K = °C + 273.15. Results are displayed to up to 6 significant figures, which is more than sufficient for everyday use.

All calculations happen entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No data is sent to a server, and no external API calls are made during a conversion. This makes the tool fast, reliable, and private.
